Unit 8 How do you make a banana milk shake?

一.教材分析:
话题:制作banana milk shake。
要求掌握制作的材料、用量及过程。
二.教学目标:(知识目标, 能力目标,德育目标)[来源&科&网]
知识目标:
(1)能掌握并使用祈使句(Imperatives)
(3) 会描述一个过程Describe a process;
(3) 能正确使用表示序列的副词依照指示完成步奏Follow instructions.
(4) 初步正确区分可数名词与不可数名词 Countable/uncountable noun;
能力目标:
1.听能目标:能听懂有关食物制作的步骤,材料及用量的短语及表达; 能听清各种食物的名称
2.说能目标: 能表达食物banana milk shake的制作过程,
3.读能目标: 能从图片信息中, 获取制作某些食物的知识; 能从有关的文字材料中, 获取有关食物和食物制作的信息.
4.写能目标: 能正确写出各种食物的名称; 能以祈使句形式表达制作某种食物的材料。
德育目标:
1.通过制作食物的介绍, 培养学生的实际生活能力, 了解生活知识, 增长生活阅历, 培养实践操作能力和动手能力.
2.通过食物制作过程的介绍, 让学生认识到劳动成果的来之不易, 使之懂得不能浪费食物, 珍惜他人的劳动成果.
3.通过小组活动,培养合作精神
通过本单元的学习, 让学生了解不同国家和不同地域的饮食文化和饮食习惯,学会尊重别人的风俗。
2.教学重点与难点
重点:
1 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。
2 进行听力训练,提高综合听说能力。
3.能对食品制作过程进行表达和描述。
难点:(知识难点,能力难点)
知识难点:
1. Turn on the blender. 打开搅拌器。
祈使句,又叫无主句,表示命令、请求等语气,以动词原型开头的句子叫做祈使句。
其否定形式是在前面加上 don't 构成。如:
Sit down, please. 请坐。
Please don't sit down. 请不要坐下。
Put it away , please. 请把它拿走。
Please don't put it away. 请不要把它拿走。
2.初步区分可数和不可数名词;不可数名词量的表达,如 “two boxes of milk”;为下一步教学“How many”接可数名词和“How much”接不可数名词做铺垫。

3. in 与into
(1) in 意为“在……内”,是表示静态的介词。 into 意为“进……里”,是表示动态的复合介词。
如:She is walking in the room .她正在房间里踱来踱去。
She walked into the room .她走进了房间。
(2) 在 put , throw, break, lay, fall 等动词之后, 既可以用 in, 也可以用 into,这时 in也表示动态,常含有 into 的意思。
如:He put all the books in/ into the bag 。他把所有的书都放进书包里。
(3) in 可以用作副词, into 则不能。如:
Come in !进来!
4. turn 作动词时,表示“转 ( 弯 ) ;翻转”,后加介词短语/副词 ( 作状语 ) 。如:turn on / off 开/关 ( 收音机, 电灯等 ) [来源:Z*xx*k.Com]
turn in 交出, 上交
turn...into...( 使 ) 变成,翻译成
turn over 翻转。
如: Please turn on / off theblender. 请打开/关上搅拌器。
Turnin your papers, please. 请把试卷交上来。
Water can turn into ice. 水可变成冰.
能力难点:
能根据说明或提示进行制作各类milk shake
三.教学过程
Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Warm-up and Revision
Ask several Ss to teach new words in thispart themselves.
Every student teaches five new words.Thencorrect the mistakes.
Task 1. Revise the names of somevegetables, meat , fruits and drinks.
Teacher: Do you like bananas?
What kind offruit do you like ?
What’s your favorite food/ vegetable/meat/ fruit?
Let the students have a discussion:
Teacher: What do you have for your three meals? Where are the foods youhave from?
(Lead to the key words and learn: home-cooking , take-away food )
T: The weather is too hot in summer. So people make some food to coolbody. What do people like cooking in hot summer?
Students: Banana milk shake, fruit salad ,popcorn , sandwiches ,pancake...
Step 3 1a Learn how to make a banana milk shake.
Look at 1a,teachthe names of all items. Point to the pictures of the items and ask students torepeat.
Focus on the pictures. Ask the students to tell what they see in eachpicture. Fill in the blanks.
Then check the answers.
1. Peel the bananas.
2. Cut up the bananas.
3. Put the bananas and ice-cream inot the blender.
4. Pour the milk inotthe blender.
5. Turn on the blender.
6. Drink the shake.
Tell students these sentences are Imperatives.,and then teach “Imperatives”
Step 41b Listening
1. Let the students go through the sentences in 1b.
2. Play the recorder for the first time. The students only listen.
Then listen again, number the instructions in the right order.
1. Peel thebananas.
2. Cut up thebananas.
3. Put the bananas andice-cream inotthe blender.
4. Pour the milk inot the blender.
6. Drink theshake.
5. Turn on theblender.
3. Ask the students to read the sentences inright order.
Step 5 1cPractice using the target language
Teamwork.
Ask four students in groups to start their conversations like the sampleconversation in 1c. Eachstudent try to describe a procestudents.
鼓励他们尽可能地多说,请几组同学在班内作示范。
