　为了替海地灾民募款，美国乐坛横跨老中青三代，总计72位知名歌手，2月2日秘密聚集在录音室，改编重唱25年前的赈灾歌曲《We Are the World》，包括葛莱美三后碧昂丝、Lady Gaga、泰勒斯威夫特，还有歌坛长青树芭芭拉-史翠珊、莱诺-李奇，蒂娜-特纳等，还有miley cyrus等将重现１９８５年群星赈灾献唱的经典画面。
　1985年，迈克尔.．杰克逊做了一件国际性慈善壮举。当时非洲正闹饥荒，数以万计的儿童正受到饥荒之威胁，而非洲的情况是，人们开始放弃为生存而努力，因为一切的一切似乎都已是徒劳。在这样的背景下，迈克尔．杰克逊作为发起人呼吁美国歌手一起灌录歌曲[We Are The World]。

　哈利贝拉方提 和肯尼．罗杰斯组织执行，迈克尔．杰克逊和莱昂纳尔．里奇写了歌曲，昆西琼斯担任制作，45名当红歌手放下自我，诚意合作，这该算是那年音乐界的一个奇迹了。歌曲收录在USA for Africa的专辑里。
　２５年过去了，今天重听这首《天下一家》依然是那么令人荡气回肠。
