文殊菩萨问佛:末世初进佛门众生如何见性成佛?
一时佛在灵鹫山清净台上给诸佛菩萨等众说法,时有无量初发心四众各作是念,佛说大法我意不通,愿佛方便浅处开示。令我等辈悟佛知见皆得道果。若欲请问不得近前。
尔时文殊菩萨知诸四众之心所念,即作方便起白佛言:世尊大慈愿设方便,开示初机直指众生见性成佛,及为末世初进佛门求道众生,得正知见不遭邪惑不假多功皆得道果。
佛言:善哉善哉!文殊师利有大方便,请问如来开示三根及于末世初入门者,修行正路从尔所问。当为而说时诸大众默然而听。
佛告文殊普萨,有陀罗尼名金刚心。令众生一见一闻,便得道果、善男子云何名金刚心?此心人人皆有,个个不无,是诸众生自知自觉本等之心。何以故?一切善恶皆出自心。自心修善令身安乐;自心造恶令身受苦;心是身主;身是心用。
所以者何?佛由心成;道由心学;德由心积;功由心修;福由心作;祸由心为;心能作天堂;心能作地狱;心能作佛;心能作众生;心邪成魔;心慈是天人;心恶是罗刹;心是一切罪福种子。
若有人悟自心,把得定作得主,不造诸恶常修诸善,依佛修持立佛行愿。佛说是人不久成佛;若有善男子善女人,求佛道者不明自心,名未成佛。
若人明自心,达自性依佛修行,决定成佛。胜如读诵金刚经三十万遍,功德无比。何以故?一切诸佛及诸佛阿耨多罗三藐三菩提法,皆从自心流出,无穷无尽;不坏不杂,故名金刚心。悟此心者名悟佛心。是故佛与众生心性一般,只因修与不修;信与不信。所以有成佛有众生也!
文殊师利菩萨问佛云何名金刚经?
世尊曰:金刚喻自性,经者喻自心。若人明自心、见自性,是人自己身中有经,六根门头常放光明,照天照地具足恒河沙功德。出生四果、四向、十圣、三贤。乃至如来三十二相、八十种好、一切功德皆从自己心地修成。不从外得。何以故?若是明心见性之人,常闻自己心佛,时时说法、时时度众生、时时现神通、时时作佛事。得此理者,名持金刚经。名得金刚不坏身也!(终)
