【写给爱人的歌】经典歌曲《卡萨布兰卡》并不是电影《北非谍影》插曲，而是上世纪70年代由贝特·希金斯看完这部电影后有感而写！他说“这首歌是为当时的女友现在的妻子写的，那是1982年，这部爱情片让我们如痴如醉。结合电影，我为女友写了这首歌，她非常感动，还答应了我的求婚…”
歌曲《卡萨布兰卡》之所以受人喜爱，是因为它唱出了许多无奈离别的人的心声。它贴切地再现了影片的主题，以至于许多人都以为它是电影《卡萨布兰卡》的主题曲。歌曲充满着怀旧、追忆、思念的复杂的情绪，情感真挚，曲调优美。
