How to pretect and love animals and the nature ?

                            
    Hello, everybody! My name is Lisa. I am from No.6 Middle
School. I am very glad to stand on this stage and say
something about how to protect and love the animals and the nature .                           
    We live in the nature with millions of other creatures.But the natural envioronment  now is much worse than before. Rivers are polluted, forests are burnt and trees are disappearing. Do
you know the reason? Yes, just because of us, we human
beings. See what we are using: disposable chopsticks which
are made of wood and can only be used once. The more
chopsticks people use, the more trees will be cut down. As we know, trees can clear the air, if we cut down a lot of trees, the air will not be as fresh as before. Birds, squirrels will lose their homes. The temperature of the world is higher, so the ice in
the North Pole is melting. Finally the lovely polar bears will
become fewer and fewer because of no enough food for them.
    When the nature is damaged, animals are living a hard life.Most of the animals have nowhere to go. I like traveling in the forests. I have seen a great many animals, like monkeys, which were really cold，hungry and almost died. I gave them some   food but that was not enough. I will never forget about their   pathetic eyes. The animals are reducing, not only because of   the damaged nature, but also because so many hunters kill      them.These hunters are not allowed to kill animals but they      are still hunting.The worst thing is they always kill animals      that are endangered just because of the money. They kill         elephants for their ivories, kill tigers for their fur... How greedy they are!
    After hearing and seeing so many terrible things，we get to know how important the nature and the animals are for us.
Luckily,many volunteers have built helping centers for  
homeless animals.The government has built nature reserves to protect the nature and the animals.Pandas are the national
treasures of China . There used to be a lot of pandas,but now
there are’t very many of them,I think. They are really endangered. Now most of them live in the nature reserves and the number of them is growing fast. It is really a good thing.  
    I'm only 13 and I am not able to do great things. But what
can I do? I have my own ideas. I want to be a volunteer to help to educate the public about caring for endangered animals. I
will never wear a fur coat. If I become a scientist in the future, I will never use endangered animals for experiments.
    I think protecting the animals is protecting ourselves. And I hope it is not only my wish but also humans'. Let us protect
them together to make the world colorful!
