《伴我同行》是一部关于几个身处逆境的孩子如何获得力量的电影，片尾的一首主题曲，让人久久难以忘怀...
 不管是过了10年，还是20年，它依旧动人。

“STAND BY ME”由Ben E. King发表于1961年。有不少人翻唱过，像披头士也有唱过.这首歌其实是根据灵歌“Lord Stand By Me”加以改编而重新创作的，获得了全美排行的第四名。1986年，由于电影《伴我同行》采用了他的这首旧作当作同名的主题歌，使得他再度的受到了注意 ，还因而夺下了英国排行的冠军。而根据BMI的统计，还是全美二十世纪最受欢迎百大歌曲的第四名。

《伴我同行》是改编自史蒂芬·金小说《尸体》。故事发生在五十年代的美国俄勒冈小镇，四个一心成英雄的少年，当年哥狄和三个死党好友——克里斯、泰迪、樊恩，离城镇去寻找一具小男孩的尸体，以便上电台电视出风头，他们家庭各有问题，因此在彼此的身上寻到安全感和肯定，他们躲过狼犬追逐，在铁桥上进退两难，险遭撞死，陷入布满吸血虫的森林沼泽......然而在寻找的途中，他们学到了谨守原则的可贵，也学到了尊重生命。
